I now fully understand a parent saying they wish they could “take the pain” for their injured child. Last night I let Jeremy sleep on my side of the bed and I took the big chair in our room. As I watched him struggle to get comfortable and try to sleep all night I just wished I could endure the pain for him. It was a rough night 😕
