Not sure why it took me seeing Love, Simon for the 3rd time for this scene to make me cry. My dad and I had a similar conversation after I came out and I remembering him wanting to blame himself for not “knowing” his son was gay, and he few “gay” comments he said as a joke. Live and learn dad! You’re the best dad I could have ever wished for! Never doubt that! ❤️
