Wow! Our son is an amazing kid! So every night before Jeremy goes to bed we always go in his room and talk with him. Sometimes it’s just a quick fun talk, sometimes something serious and sometime it’s a quick chat and a kiss goodnight. Tonight, before he could say a word, tears started flowing and he started talking and crying about what it’s meant to him to get to be our son, there were a lot of tears, hugs and kisses, then he started talking about how happy we’ve made him by giving him a happy, loving home and now, something he’s always dreamed about, getting to have a brother or sister. The words he used were so heartwarming and had us both in tears. We were able to share some thoughts on what it’s meant to have him as our son and we ended up all crying our eyes out. He knows that as happy as we are to be having a baby, he’s the pride and joy of our life and nothing will ever change that. We just get to add more love to our family by adding a brother or sister to what we already have. After we all ran out of tears we laid with him in our arms before he finally fell asleep. After we quietly got up, we both stood at his door watching him sleep and of course we hugged and cried a little more before we came out to the living room, and without words know we have a perfect family! Aaron’s in the shower as I sit here and type this, wondering how I got so lucky to have this life. I remember dreaming about just finding a guy that I could love and be loved by, that dream came true. I met Aaron, then add to that Jeremy coming into our lives and we thought, this was it, our lives were complete, well surprise, it gets better! We get another kid in about 8 months! This really is a dream come true, AGAIN!! We are a lucky family and before long we get to add one more heart to the three we already have! 💙💙💙
