Work / Baby : Update

Aaron and I talked and I’ll work until the 7th of November, unless the baby comes early, but we are going with the due date and hope that’s close. Aaron said its ok with him, no matter the date, when I take off work but agreed with me that the 7th works good too. So here we are, 2 and a half months away from having our baby home and I will take at least 6 months off work to be a stay at home dad. Aaron hopes I’ll want to stay home after that I’ll just take care of the boys full time. This is going to be a new life for sure but I love my family and will do what it takes to make sure that the boys have a good life. It could be that I end up completely quitting my job and just becoming a full time stay at home dad, but I do want to make that choice myself, after the first 6 months. I know Aaron thinks after 6 months I won’t want to let a babysitter take care of the baby and will choose to stay home. Both our moms have already told us they will help whenever I need them because that’s what grandmas do! I never thought I’d be a dad of two boys at the age of almost 26, but I have to admit, I’m looking forward to it. I love my family so much! 💙
