Here We Go! ðŸ’™

Well here we go, we leave in a few minutes to pick Kayden up. I’m told our life will be forever changed today. Im sure it will be, just as it was when we adopted Jeremy. Yes he was older but he’s our son and love him with all our hearts. We are just adding more love to our family! 💙💙

where can we send baby cards and gifts? you said a friend had sent you bonds undies once before, how did they send them to you?

I’ve always had my blog followers want to send things to us, mostly underwear, go figure, anyway over the years I’ve only accepted one gift mailed to us (to a friends address) and it was because it was a gift for the baby’s room, he did send some Bonds underwear from Australia also, which to be honest I loved. I’ve also accepted an American Eagle gift card since he sent me the code and I didn’t want to waste a $60 gift card, also from another long time follower. But I’ve also turned down many gifts as that’s not why I’m here. I love that u all care so much, but a note or message is really enough! I love u guys! Thanks! 💙

Homecoming

Well today is the day we bring Kayden home. Aaron woke me up this morning with the best hug and kiss ever and asked if I was ready to bring our son home. Being the “little spoon” this morning, was exactly what I needed, I never wanted him to let go. I’m not sure exactly how to explain the feelings I have this morning, the love, excitement, fear, happiness. My heart has been beating out of my chest knowing we are bringing home our newborn son today.

Aaron is making breakfast for us so I better go in and wake Jeremy up and get our day going. Thanks for all the messages everyone, I tried to get back to as many of you as I could, even if it was just a short “Thank you” If I missed anyone THANK YOU! We can feel all the love! 💙

Bedtime

Aaron is asleep, Jeremy is asleep and now it’s my turn. When we wake up tomorrow we take Jeremy to school (which he was fighting) then we go pick up Kayden and his birth mom and bring them home. She’s going to stay with us for a week or so, we can try to get her producing milk for him. If everything works out we will be using her milk for a while for him with a breast pump, hopefully that works out, if not we put him on formula. Wish us luck!

It’s crazy that the plan was for me to start staying home tomorrow to get ready for him to be born, turns out he had other plans on being home on the 1st too!
