Some of you have asked again so the due date is 11/13/18. It’s amazing how fast these 9 months have went by, well actually 8 months since we still have a month left. Yes we are a little more then ONE MONTH away from finally getting to meet and bring home our baby boy! My stomach has been in knots just thinking about it! We have a baby shower this weekend then we finish the final details on the baby’s room on Sunday.

Can some of you that have been around when I first met Aaron, believe we will actually have two sons in our home soon? I do have to say, between Aaron and Jeremy, they are keeping me sane right now.

At the end of this month I take off work for a while to be a stay at home dad. I’m not sure how long or if that will be permanent but the plans right now are for me to be home for 6 months then decide if I go back to work part time or stay home with the kids.

Our “birth mom” will be part of our boys lives, and will be known by them as their aunt. She’s not only one of our best friends but she will always be a part of our lives. We are so lucky to call her our friend. I always worried about getting a surrogate to have our baby, but with her, no worry at all. She’s so happy she’s able to do this for us.

Oh and one more thing, I am well on my way to hit 6,000 followers this month on my blog. I know it’s not what it used to be but I’m doing the best I can with family, work, life and the blog to keep me busy! Thanks guys! (and girls) 😏

Active Baby

Last night we had our baby’s birth mom over for dinner and a movie and as we were watching the movie I had my head resting on her tummy and I was talking to him when the baby became very active and really started moving around and kicking like crazy. It was pretty exciting as we all got to feel our son and Jer’s brother moving around like that. I really think he knows our voices and reacts to us when we talk to him. I have to admit I had tears in my eyes feeling all that activity. The way he was moving around and kicking like that made me think he may get here sooner then expected, of course I could be wrong as we’ve never had a baby before. I’m so happy Aaron came up with the idea for her to move closer to us as we get to see her quite a bit as he grows and gets closer to the day we get to meet him! As the time gets closer we all decided for her to spend more time here or us at her condo. What an exciting night! ❤️

Work / Baby

Just had a talk with my dad and he suggested I take off work starting November 1st so I have time to get ready for the baby. He said he’s not pushing me out sooner but just wanted to offer it to me. “Grandpa” is so excited about the baby! I’ll talk with Aaron and Jeremy about it and decide with them.
