Aaron just left for work and our morning got me thinking about watching my parents start their mornings and how similar our lives are to theirs, don’t get me wrong, there are a few differences, such as us getting up and running before we shower and get ready for work.

We wake up and talk as we’re getting dressed to go run, come back and Aaron gets in the shower while I make coffee and something to eat, when he gets out, I sometimes stand in the bathroom talking to him as he gets ready then we walk into the kitchen, have a quick bite to eat and just sit and talk about different subjects as we drink coffee. After we finish I usually rinse the dishes as Aaron puts them in the dishwasher. Aaron grabs his things for work as I usually walk him out to the garage, give him a kiss or two goodbye, tell each other “I love you” then watch him drive away.

Sounds like a normal loving married couple right? Guess what? It is!
