We’re Back

We’re back! It was a fun but much too short trip. Aaron is an amazing husband and he always seems to plan the perfect trips. We went to Monterey, stayed in a beautiful rental home and spent a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We even had a personal chef come in and cook us an amazing fresh seafood dinner. We spent some quality time talking to our baby’s birth mom and making plans for the next 4 plus months leading up to our baby’s birth. One thing this weekend showed us is we made a perfect choice in a surrogate mother for our baby. She’s an amazing woman and is so excited to be helping us make our dream come true of having our own newborn son and become part of our family by being a great aunt to both our boys. Jeremy refers to her as his aunt and they have already built a special bond with each other. This was an awesome getaway trip for our expanding family and it couldn’t have turned out better. There are no words that can describe how perfect this trip turned out for our family. I truly have the perfect husband that has given me a life I never could have dreamed of having! 💙

A Short Break

Hey guys, I’ll be taking a short break from the blog starting tomorrow. I’ll be back sometime Sunday. Aaron has surprised us by taking Jeremy, myself and our baby’s birth mother for a couple days to spend some time together and discuss the next 4 or more months and how we will all deal with everything that will be happening in our lives. It will also be good for our new son to start hearing our voices a little more. Thanks to all of you that have been sending the sweet notes about our family and your well wishes. It’s been a pretty amazing time in our lives and we really do appreciate the love we get from so many of you. Who would have thought all of this could happen to us when we first met each other 5 plus years ago. We sure were lucky to have found our soul mates and then to get the chance to add Jeremy into our lives too, and now in 4 months, a new baby boy. This has definitely been a wild ride but one I wouldn’t trade a minute of for anything! I’m not sure where we are going as Aaron wants it to be a surprise.
