Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I was told that I’m an abomination and to “have fun burning in hell”. Over 150 people deleted me from social media. A lady from my parents church posted a status about me stating that I was wicked and morally decaying. I received a threatening phone call where I was told choosing to marry a man will be the worst decision of my life and they would make sure of it.

Today was better. I woke up next to the man I get to spend the rest of my life with. Over 630 people liked my relationship status update on social media. That’s over 630 people who support me. And I was told I’m loved by hundreds of people. My hope is that my experiences will positively impact that of rising generations to be better than that before us. That at least one person will see this and not be afraid of who they are because love is stronger than hate.

LOVE 💙 – I married the man of my dreams over 3 years ago and it’s been the best days of our lives, a lot has happened since that day, we adopted the most awesome kid on this planet and we are now preparing for a child in November. One day I thought because I was gay, that we would never have a life like this, now we are living the life of our dreams! NEVER let anyone tell you you can’t have it all, because we are proof that it’s up to the both of you! It can be the worst or best life in this world, but im here to say, that’s your choice! You are loved!!! Always believe that! 💙
