On February 21st 2015, I married the man of my dreams, as we were planning our wedding, we decided to wear teal accessories with our tux’s. As we were planning the wedding Aaron found us matching teal Calvin Klein Steel boxerbriefs and trunks for our wedding day. As we planned, Aaron asked our wedding party if they wanted a pair and if they did, we would buy theirs too, everyone of them said yes so we started looking for the same underwear, in everyone’s sizes, yes we even found them in a kids size for our ring barer (Colton) and the women in the wedding party too. Fast forward and I was talking about the underwear we were going to wear and a few of our blog followers asked if we minded if they wore teal underwear on our wedding day too, to be a small part of our wedding day. That was the day that #goingteal came to life. With the amount of blog followers I had in here, it continued to grow and the hashtag #goingteal , continued to grow. I lost count as to how many joined us that day but it was in the hundreds of my blog followers from all around the world. I not only received messages of support saying my blog followers were going to be a part of it but also pictures of their teal underwear they they were going to wear but also where they were from. It was pretty amazing, then each year since then it gets close to another year, on Feb 21st, my amazing blog followers let me know they were going to wear teal underwear again on our anniversary, so here we go again, less then a month away and on Feb 21st, we will pull out those teal CK’s and wear them again. If anyone else wants to join us, feel free! We’d love to have you #goingteal with us again!

Well guys it’s almost here, a little over two weeks! WOW, the time went so fast! Hope you were able to find some teal undies to join us all in #goingteal on our wedding day! If not maybe you have something teal or close that you can wear! Thanks for all the support! ❤️

#goingteal – This was the post about a month before our wedding day! We are now a little over a month away from our 3rd anniversary and on our 4th year of sharing our #goingteal posts! If you’re going to wear underwear that is teal or has teal in it, let us know! Thanks to all of you take love join in on this day! Someone asked me today if teal is more on the green or blue side of the color spectrum, I say you decide, if in your eyes it’s teal, then you are right! 💙

In support of waistbandboy (aka Mike) with his happy nuptials to Aaron, here’s the closets thing I have to #goingteal for their wedding today. 

So it will be tonight’s underwear choice: teal American Eagle Boxerbriefs (and I owe a thanks to Mike for getting me to like AE. In some of our discussions about 2 or 3 years ago, he told me I should try and buy some, and that I wouldn’t regret it. And I never did. Thank you sir. 🙂 )

Mike and Aaron, good luck tomorrow and may God Bless! May you two a blessed life together as a happy, married couple. And may you have many blessed years together. With time, hopefully,with each passing day, y’all can truly realize together what 2 loving souls can do together as one. There will be many trials and tribulations ahead of you as a couple. It’s a fact of life. But with faith, hope, and love (and the greatest of these is LOVE), y’all with find peace and comfort in each other’s arms. 

As for me, tomorrow, I travel to Cleveland, Mississippi (where my dad’s side of the family is from) to lay my grandfather to rest. He was my last living grandparent. We were never really close. My dad married my mom, and they moved away out of the Delta to the hill region of north Mississippi. So I never really grew up around him a whole lot. 

C’est la vie as the French would say.

But it is a sad occasion to see his kids (my aunts/uncles) lay their father to rest. He had to lay 3 of his own kids (including my dad in those 3) to rest. It has to be a hard thing as a parent to put any child in a grave. So with him dying, everything seems to come full circle in some odd way I believe. 

But enough of that.

And Mike and Aaron, again, good luck, have fun, and stay true to one another as a forever married couple. Mike, as you always say in your posts: LOVE ONE ANOTHER! 🙂

Almost three years ago I receive this message from one of my blog followers showing me the teal underwear he’d be wearing to show his support for our wedding day. Back when I had over 55,000 followers, there were actually hundreds of guys from around the world sending us messages of support and #goingteal with us by also wearing teal underwear or undies with teal in them to be a little part of our day back on February 21st, 2015. For those that were not around back then, we had teal accessories in our tux’s and Aaron bought us teal Calvin Klein boxerbriefs to wear that day. As it turned out we offered those in our wedding party a pair too if they wanted a pair. That set off the #goingteal hashtag and many of you joined in. First, to undiefan99.tumblr.com , thank you for the kind words back then! That was a special message! Second, on our 3rd anniversary on Feb 21st 2018, if any of you want to join us again on #goingteal that day! Feel free to get some teal undies and wear them that day! If you want to share a underwear pic (or waistband pic) in them, I’ll try to post them here! Thanks everyone and here’s to year three of #goingteal with us!! 💙💙💙

What a fun day, my dad got great tickets from a client to the SF Giants home opener, then the big surprise, he drove us across the bay and also had tickets to the Warriors/Spurs game in Oakland! When we got there he opened his trunk and gave us a Warriors shirt and told us to put them on for the game. I was so excited I forgot about the hickies on my chest and tummy! Oh my god the look on my dads face was priceless! Aaron laughed and told him, well you said to keep them below the neck line dad! It was too cute! A baseball and basketball game in one day with my two favorite men was amazing!

Aaron called me a tease before he left for work, all I did was straighten out his clothes a little so he looked nice heading out the door, well ok maybe I got a little carried away by unzipping his pants and reaching in to adjust his package. He knows he liked it!!

Last night we got into an argument and we both said some things to each other that we both regret saying. For the first time in over two years of being together, Aaron went to bed mad at me. I sat in the living room crying and fell asleep on the couch. In the middle of the night he came in and sat next to me and told me he was sorry and that we could talk in the morning but that we made a promise to each other to never go to bed mad at each other and no matter what he loves me. We hugged and I told him I was sorry too and that I love him. This morning we woke up early, talked some things out, agreed to disagree on something else and made up with each other. As we were getting ready for work, he shared some feelings he had yesterday morning when we woke up. We had fallen asleep in a pile of blankets on the floor in front of the fire and just stayed the night right there on the floor. He said when he woke up, he laid there watching me sleep and he couldn’t stop smiling, knowing that I will be his forever and how deep his love is for me. I can’t remember his exact words but he made me feel so good, safe & wanted! As perfect as things are between us, we understand that we are not always going to agree on everything and that’s ok. As long as we both know, we can talk about it with each other and even though we may still disagree, it’s nothing our love for each other that we can’t overcome. There are times, I’m going to get my way, and there are times he’s going to get his way too, even though I may not like it! I love him soooo much! 😏

LOVE 💙 I really do love re-reading some of my old posts. It helps me to remember some of the growing we did together to get where we are today! He’s still the love of my life!

That moment you wake up next to the the most beautiful person in the world and knowing you get to wake up tomorrow and have those same wonderful feelings all over again! I love him soooo much!!!

The most amazing part of this post is, on February 21st, we will be celebrating our 3rd Wedding Anniversary, and I still to this day, wake up and get these same feelings laying next to him. There has never been a doubt that I married my soulmate. 💙❤️💙
