Thanksgiving with the family

I’m not sure about you guys but I know we all over ate yesterday and brought home, probably too many leftovers. My biggest thing is getting to have a turkey sandwich today and see what Aaron and Jeremy come up with, with all the leftovers! They are talking about Turkey Pot Pies, so we’ll see! We did get to go for a long walk in between the rains yesterday while my mom watched her new grandson! She was in heaven getting to spoil him yesterday. I’d have to say Thanksgiving with Aaron’s family and mine was about as perfect as we could have asked! I think Jeremy helping his grandmother cook made her and his day, spending that time together and also Jeremy’s grams helping my mom cook our second Thanksgiving dinner. As for Kade, he sure made a good impression on the whole family, Aaron’s and mine. He was definitely the hit of Thanksgiving day and everyone absolutely loved him. It made me proud to say these are our families and just watching how much both our families love our kids! After we went to bed last night both me and Aaron could only smile when we talked about how our families love their grandsons!

Thanksgiving 2018

We were going to try to cook a thanksgiving meal, just for our immediate family but both Aaron’s family and mine convinced us to take it easy and spend the day with them and not worry about cooking anything. (Aaron and Jeremy did make some pies to take with us) so this morning at 4AM Aaron went and dropped Jeremy off at his parents house as he’s helping Aaron’s mom make our first of two Thanksgiving meals today. He also went and picked up Jeremy’s grandmother and dropped her off to help my mom cook our second meal today. It’s going to be a special day having a new member in the family to show off to everyone. Have an awesome Thanksgiving everyone!

Giving thanks the day before Thanksgiving ðŸ¦ƒ

As I’ve been laying here on my lounge chair watching Kayden peacefully sleep in his bassinet, I look over and see Aaron, the same way in our bed, it made me get up and go peek in on Jeremy and he’s also sound asleep in his bed, it made me realize that for us, all is right in the world and I have so much to give thanks for on this day before Thanksgiving.

Before I met Aaron, this was only a dream that I never thought would come true for me in my life since as I was only a gay 20 year old with no hope of living a “normal” life because that’s what I was told my life would be like as a gay man. All I can say is never believe what others say your life will be like and keep dreaming, because dreams do come true! 💙
